PACKAGING DEVELOPMENT MANAGER responsible for the management of assigned staff doing package development and improvements to existing packaging.  Corporate position with 4-5 direct professional  reports.   This highly visible position interacts with Marketing, Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Regulatory.  Requires 10 (8 with MS degree) of package development experience with a proven ability to manage staff and multiple projects.   Seek imagination, practical problem solving, and excellent interpersonal skills able to work well in a teams environment.  Salary: $90-105K plus bonus.

 

SITE ENGINEERING MANAGER for this consumer products client to coordinate engineering and maintenance activities with manufacturing able to research, identify, and implememt operational and product improvements.  Assure continuous utility services and analyze their costs. Oversee outside contractors.  Will prepare and administer plant engineering and maintenance budgets.  Must have prior management experience and a track record of practical problem solving.  Southeast location; $85K.

 

PRODUCTIVITY MANAGER to lead Continuous Improvement / Productivity Improvement projects and initiatives in a food processing and packaging plant.  Work directly with the hourly work teams in developing programs to cut labor, waste, and scrap.  Requires a track record of delivering cost savings, knowkedge of packaing operations, and preventative maintenance.  Seekin a leader and motivator who is promotable.  Midwestern location.  Salary $65K bonus

 

SR. PACKAGING ENGINEER to manage package development projects from concept through to launch for medical products manufacturer.  Requires 5 years experience and knowledge of materials and equipment for sterile products, validation, DOE, and FMEA (6 sigma is a plus) for FDA regulated packaging.   Northeast location, salary to $80K plus bonus;  relocation assistance available.

 

SR. PACKAGING PROJECT ENGINEER to develop and drive all packaging activities for healthcare and personal care products.  Implement new product packaging and innovative designs as well as being the primary contact between Packaging, the Category Managers, and Manufacturing.  Sole Packaging Engineer at this northern NJ R&D Center so must manage projects independently.  Salary $75-85K, no relocation.

 

PLANT MANAGER (2) to manage consumer products self-directed work force of 120 Associates (both in the northeast, one rural and the other surburban).  Full responsibility for all manufacturing activities: Oprations, Materials, Quality, and Engineering through a management team of 6-8 people, and will be accountable for meeting all busdiness goals.  Both open due to promotion/transfers.  $105-120 plus bonus.

 

PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER (2) assigned within Product Development to plan, design, and launch innovative packaging delivery systems.  One is with a leading consumer products manufacturer and the other is with a packaging materials OEM, northeast and midatlantic locations.  Direct client/customer interface, high visibility, and requires prior product design/development experience.  Salaries to $85K.

 

PACKAGING ENGINEER to provide package development support to personal care business units. Requires prior testing and line trial experience able to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing problems at client plants and contract manufactrers.  New England location, salary to $65K.  Will relocate.
